It was splendid to witness a triumph for the Irish Arts in the new Opera Ireland Production of Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice.

Join The Opera Circle

Opera Ireland is growing.

We have ambitious plans for expansion and development in the coming years. This will involve increasing the number of opera productions in a longer annual season in Dublin, touring in Ireland and occasionally abroad, staging more opera related events and initiatives such as concert performances and recitals, and doing more to develop and promote Irish opera. Very importantly, we hope to develop significant programmes to support and develop Irish operatic talent, including regular international masterclasses and to build our audience development and public access programmes to bring this greatest of all performing art forms to the widest public possible.

Audience

We cannot do this without your support!

Without private investment to supplement that from Government via the Arts Council and our commercial income from ticket sales and sponsorship, none of what we do and what we hope to do is possible.

Your support makes a real difference and you can help in a number of ways...

  • Become a member of the Opera Ireland Opera Circle
  • Give the gift of membership to someone special
  • Tell your friends about us and encourage them to become members
  • Make a donation, either for general purpose support or for particular initiatives you wish to support
  • Become a sponsor of performances or any of our other programmes or initiatives.

Membership of the Opera Circle is a great investment. In addition to producing a visible return in the amount and quality of opera in Ireland, there are a range of personal benefits from advance priority booking, special events in the company of other like-minded individuals, to personal tax benefits for subscriptions and donations.
